Figured we should have a thread about this one. The Jim Steinman fan community has a lot of widely held opinions, and anybody who has the opposite opinion is pretty much laughed at or disregarded. But that won't be so in this thread.
I have an example that I'm saving for the right point in the thread to piss off a couple people. First, I want to hear what everyone else has. Do you have an opinion opposite from the crowd where Steinman's work is concerned? Let's hear it!
