Agreed. The lyrical references to theatre obviously suit Meat, and I like how the 'middle 8' (act one..., act two... etc) encapsulates the whole song.
I think if Jim had of produced, it would (obviously) be even more Steinmanesque.
'I'd Lie For You' was trying toooo hard to be a Steinman copy, and you can tell.
