| RANT & RAVE "Another Slice Off The Old Loaf" If you own a copy of BOOH 2, take a look at the credits for "I'd do Anything For Love" Notice the person credited with duetting with the Loaf with such dramatic effect on the song? yep, it's Mrs Loud. The identity of the super lunged temptress has been the subject of much speculation down the years, but true Bat fans will know Mrs Loud is the alter ego of geordie singer Lorraine Crosby. This self financed album can best be summed up as Shania Twain meets Elkie brooks, but with added bellowing and hollering. It begins in tongue-in-cheek fashion with the defiant "Face To Face" (with Mrs Loud)and peaks with the steamy ballad "Sweat" The production is workmanlike, however, and one can't help but wonder what magic Jim Steiman could've worked.
