Good music is good music and there's been plenty of non-Steinmanesque songs and artists recommended on here that have turned out to be good.
I think it was Scaramouche who first recommended MIKA on here, Mika's about as far from Steinman as you can get, but I'm thankful that he was recommended as he's one of my newer favourite artists.
