Hmmm, they've both done some great vocals over the years...
Meat: For Crying Out Loud, Bat, 2/3, Objects, Anything For Love
Rory: Surf's Up, Nowhere Fast, A Kiss, 'Turnaround Bright Eyes'.
I think Rory's vocal on 'Surf's Up' ranks up there with Meat's on 'Crying Out Loud'.
I think Jim has probably worked more with Rory Dodd over the years (if you would count up all the studio hours) than Meat. Less problematic with session singers, than artist's who want 'input'.
What was the question again...who do I prefer? Like almost everything else depends on me mood.
I like 'em all...Kyle Gordon, Rob Evan, Todd, Steve Barton, Andre De Shields, Elaine Caswell etc etc.
Would love to hear more stuff Jim & Rory have done especially 'Total Eclipse...' (if a demo exists).
