| Hi guys and gals. Since every once in a while I post here I thought Id fill everyone in with what I have been up to lately. First, I have finally graduated from college! The last year and a half I have really worked hard to get good grades to go out on and I am happy to report I have made Deans list on two occasions. I am not sure where I will be going in this crazy world but at the moment I am finishing work I started as an intern for pay. It involves video editing (my favorite thing). I am also going to be making a movie on the cat sanctuary that I volunteer at. It should be a very fun, unique project. The past few weeks we have lost some of the older kitties and it has been especially tough for the lady who runs the place. I am going to make a short music video for her tomorrow after shelter care and will upload it onto youtube and post the link here for people to see. Wrestling wise, I do not think I will continue my once avid pursuit to get into the business (for those that remember the A.G. Awesome days) Lastly, since we have some photoshop users I wanted to share a quick story. During my last semester I took a digital photography class. We had an assignment where we had to create something that described who we are. I saw many amazing examples that made me feel like the assignment would be impossible to complete. As I often do when stuck on something creative, I looked to the world around me and past expereinces. I was in luck, I thought of a painting I had recently seen at the art museum in DC called the Fall of Man by Goltzius. The thing that stuck out in my memory of the painting was that there was a random little cat laying in the corner of the painting. It reminded me of one of the cats from the sanctuary. This got the creative juices flowing and I decided that I would replace elements of the painting with elements from my life. I worked real hard and edited the classic painting to include many things involved with my life. The class LOVED it and rather than describe it, I wanted to share it with the many users on this site as I think it will bring a good laugh to you all. Hopefully it is viewable, if not, could I email it to someone that could then host the image for me? | |
