I used to think Meat had the greatest voice. I admit he has times when he sounds better than awful. But he still doesn't sound great, and now he always does his phony crap to illicit emotion rather than putting real feeling into it. Anyway. You can believe what you want. If you enjoy it good for you. Still the only people who actually think Meat sounds good nowadays are Loafers who drank the kool aid and want him to sound good. If Meat wasn't Meat and he was Me or Rob Evan, or Pudding or whoever singing this way nobody would claim it sounded good. Bonnie gets this same forgiveness to a lesser extent. I can appreciate their past performances and what they have done for Jim's legacy without saying they sound great when they don't.
