I've heard "Rasputin," bought the 3 CD set after it came out. I thought parts of it were great, the recycled Tchaikovsky themes were a brilliant touch in particular, but some of it fell flat, for example turning Prince Yusupov into a completely one-dimensional character.
But aside from all that puffery, Ted's performance was great. According to him in most interviews of late, that's next on the agenda after this "Superstar" tour wraps up.
