They hate me anyway, so I might as well answer your post. The songs used were the tracks from the album. The animation is not by Scarfe (even though he has met Jim about possibly doing the animation for the show). Several of the videos are by a graphic design student. Most are using footage that is already out there. Like there is a hilarious series of clips from the Honeymooners for Paradise. Two of the videos are clips from Ken Russell films. They don't really do the songs justice. While the DVDs are interesting, the albums still provide a much more powerful experience. This will not be the case when the show opens because the songs will be sung and coreographed with fantastic lights by Marc Brickman. The videos for the DVD were sort of thrown together in a hurry. I think it is better for investors to listen to the albums or read the script. The script is great but unfortunately on the DVD only one of the actors brings his character to life (Andre de Shields - who played Hook). Jim is not working with Bonnie this year. He has said that he is putting all of his efforts into the show. | |
