Actually, the rock musical I'm writing does have a scene or two with a motorcycle, though it isn't anything like that. I'm trying my best to make it my own, but if it ever actually happens, it will be easy to see the influence of Jim Steinman. I will keep that dream image in my head for the future, though.

The two dreams are not the same story. While in the first dream I was college-age Jim, in the second dream I met current-age Jim (looking remarkably like he does in this photo, actually). I'm terrified of what Freud would say. :-)
