I read that the record company refused to push them when they saw the video. Then the record company people who were working with PB tried to edit it and make it something different. But the boss of those who tried to edit it didn't like the alternative version either. So they didn't get much of an advertising budget and only a limited release. You have to remember how important the visual side of things had become by the time PB were put together. You'd think that they would give them another chance and put up the big bucks because Jim was masterminding them but that doesn't seem to be the way things work in entertainment. | |
