How would the original clips of BOOH have been percieved if Meat had his hair permed like the little guy in Air Supply? Some perms are fine. I must point this out in case any board posters have one. But there is such a thing as a really bad perm. Worse than Disco Stu in the Simpsons. Also, in the I'm All Out Of Love video,(I know it is not a Jim song), the little guy sings standing still while being filmed by an overhead camera, so that he doesn't look as short as he is. He also wears thick platform shoes for the same reason. Was Meat afraid of showing his fat? No. He used his fat sweaty body to appeal to the audience. Paradise wouldn't have worked with a thin guy. Also, the Air Supply guys look really serious. They have no emotion in their faces. What's up with them? At least Barry Manilow smiles and shows his emotions. The Air Supply guys have no sense of theatre. Unlike Meat, who uses his acting skills when he sings. Or at least he did for a long time. I'm not sure about now.
