Wagner was a child of his time. Wouldn't be overly surprised if certain composers would say the same about current pop music as Wagner said about "jewish music" back then.
Notice how anti-jew propaganda is getting popular and even acceptable again? There are calls to boycott anything coming from Israel, not to mention calls to wipe out Israel and all jews (+ possibly convert xtians and if they don't than kill them) and nobody is swinging the Naziclub for some reason.
Oh, forgot the reason might be because it's righteous this time as it's inspired by some holy book not written by a German but by a childmolester and murderer and therefor it can't be bad.
By the way, Parzifal was banned in Germany shortly before the war broke out, so apparently not all Wagner was considered good for the cause.
