| More on this ... Britain's Got Talent: Susan Boyle begins rehearsals for musical numbers ![]() Susan Boyle has begun weeks of rehearsing the song she hopes will put her on the road to winning Britain's Got Talent. It is thought the Scottish singer is likely to perform Andrew Lloyd Webber number Whistle Down the Wind from the musical. Acts on the ITV series are not allowed to sing the same songs throughout the competition. And Susan, 47, seems certain to be picked for the semis where she will try a different song from I Dreamed a Dream which won her global affection. Her friend Derek Brown, 47, who has known her since school, hinted at other potential hits she would perform in the future. He said: "I wouldn't say the one she did on telly was even her best song. You should hear The Fields of Athenry or that song from Titanic [My Heart Will Go On]." A source said: "People have gone crazy for I Dreamed A Dream, but that is just the start. "She is going to show a different side to her voice and will then perform I Dreamed a Dream if she gets to the final." Meanwhile stage star Elaine Page has offered to duet with Susan, after she said she would love to be as successful as Elaine. The star of the original Evita said: "Her performance captured the hearts of everyone who saw it, me included." | |
