Thanks! It's not bad, but not great either. Really has a 80's metal vibe. One thing I notice is how even recent covers of Jim's work seem to come out sounding dated. As much as I love Jim's melodies, I'd like to see an artist keep the lyrics and re-think the arrangement.
I did like how Jim's "newer" material used electronic beats. Not Allowed to Love, Braver... It really is the way most radio-friendly songs are made these days. On those instances they were just demo's, do who knows what the plan for the finished product was meant to be. Somebody, do a cover that sounds like it's from this decade!
