| Thanks Dave. The quote there is: "We were in Dublin and I was saying how great it was to be in the city of Yeats and Joyce - Joe Elliott said they hadn't met any of the local musicians yet." This is almost the same as the quote in the book. I am now hearing that Jim claims: "Actually, I said the city of "Yeats, Joyce, Synge, Shaw, and Beckett."" So both the book and this website misquote him. The chap who wrote the book I was reading probably used the information which is posted on this website for his Def Leppard article research. | |
