Before Steven Stuart was banned for the first time, I did try to hide the fact that I had been Mr. Egg because I thought I would get banned. Pudding caught me and yes, I did tell a porkie because I was scared of being banned, which I was anyway, so I might as well have owned up to being Mr. Egg. I wouldn't have been banned any faster if I had. But I am back as Steven Stuart who was Mr. Egg. JD now knows my true identity (she didn't the first time Steven Stuart was banned). I have apologised to her for any board disruption caused by Mr.Egg. (Sorry, I shouldn't be talking like Mr.Egg is another person.) But what would you advise me to do now? I was able to be honest without fear of being banned AFTER I was banned using the Steven Stuart name. The honesty about being Mr. Egg came about as soon as the ban on Steven Stuart was lifted. At that point JD knew all about me and I knew if she had lifted the ban knowing that I had also been Mr. Egg, then I was free to acknowledge that I had been both Mr.Egg and AbbeyRoad. You say that folks here aren't fools and I think you are right. There are many posters that do not react to me in the negative ways that Pudding, Smeghead and sometimes (only sometimes)you do. Surely you must have noticed that. Lord Rahl is just one example. Klasien is another. There are quite a few board members who are not upset by what I write. The thing about you being in charge of the board's technology is something I asked because you once said that Mr.Egg, Susan and Bright Eyes all had different IP numbers. How did you know that? Also, you seem to know who everyone is. You were very confident that Bright Eyes and Leesa had no connection, even though they often only crop up at the same time (and also Susan claims a connection to both of them). Nobody else on the board speaks with the kind of authority that you do when talking about these matters. As you may have heard, I had a six month email relationship with Susan. She reads all the posts on the board, long after the Pidunk ban. With what you say about the ease of coming up with different IP numbers, are you really sure that she couldn't come back to the board as another character? Are you sure that I am the only one with sequential names? Or is it that I am the only one to get caught out by the board police? How can you be so sure when you say that: "no, that person couldn't be that screen name." I asked you that last post but you didn't answer. | |
