Agreed. Listening to Meat's version of NMW I always think I wish Jim had produced the whole concept album and ALW stuck with the cast recording.
Jim's efforts (Kiss, Tire Tracks, NMW) stand head & shoulders above the bland stuff ALW/Nigel Wright put together, and Donny Osmand's performance is horrid.
Would love to have heard Jim produce 'Nature of the Beast' for the concept CD.
