Oh my goodness. She has suddenly deteriorated. I think Bellminer might testify that she's not usually that bonkers. This is really nutty, even for her. Although I worry that it is wrong to make fun of someone who is really nutty. I am not talking about someone being a bit nuts like me or Smeghead, making fun of us is not cruel, but if someone is so nutty that they think Jim didn't write his songs, then surely we should feel sorry for them instead of laughing. I can see your point of view, like when you said you don't want anybody spreading bullshit about Jim. How can you "agree to disagree" with someone who is printing libel about Jim on various websites. I have had posts removed and I have been banned for saying this in the past but it could be a dangerous situation for the BOOH producers if investors who are not familiar with Jim decide to Google him and are directed to websites which claim that Jim's only contribution to the first BOOH was the idea for the motorcycle noise that Todd played on his guitar. I know that lawyers are worried about this, even if not everyone in Jim's inner circle is alarmed. She should be made to take the websites and the blogs down. I don't think it's you who needs "a cognitive adjustment". I tried to make friends with Susan, partly because I thought that I could talk her out of believing certain things, but unfortunately she became very negative after about six months of daily email exchanges. I guess I asked her too many questions. However, some part of me feels that we should be sympathetic to her. Making fun of crazy people is cruel. That's what they did in Victorian days. It's like when Smeghead was making fun of Down's Syndrome. It's just not nice. If only we could get her to stop libelling Jim. | |
