Bit harsh. No-one has the right to know about anyone's personal health issues, especially via an internet forum.

I think Steve Rinkoff (as it was his project?) could have posted something (on their website) that the project was postponed or cancelled.

I think you could give Jim decent feedback (if he wants it)on the script(s). Have you asked?
