Now I've had a chance to listen to this song. The first time, I really didn't care for it. After 3-4 listens, it's stuck in my head. Catchy track. Not really Power Ballad in the Survivor kinda way, but it's got that bombast (overproduced?) quality. It's a large sounding song. My real criticism was that they drove the "love is war" analogy into the ground. The whole song is one big analogy. Made me rethink my writings where I've done that. But yeah, good track Jordin got lucky getting this as it could have been a hit for a dozen or so artists out there.
