NJC - Paul Jacobs on 'Piece of the Action'

Paul Jacobs appears to have made a comment on YouTube about writing 'Action':

'Thank you all for the kind words. Sarah's lyrics, as always, were great! I wrote the music one night in the famous Beatles studio at Abbey Road. I dimmed the lights, sat at the piano, and felt the vibes. Just as I finished writing the song, our engineer came in and I recorded a live piano/vocal demo. Meat loved it and the song made in onto the record. Meat's vocal is great in this video! Again, thanks for the good thoughts'.
Best,
Paul

Love this song (up there with Jim's stuff) and the lyrics especially are great:

'Somewhere a red-eye waitress glances at another movie magazine' is a great opening line, and my fave:

'Felt like a prisoner 'til I looked in your eyes and saw a million wide open doors'.

I wish Jacobs/Durkee would write a couple for Meat's new album.
