How difficult > is it to park in Amsterdam? What's this? 20 Questions? No ferries from Norwich. It's 20 miles inland so it's a bit tricky for the ferries to get there. www.aferry.to will give you the options for actual ports. Driving on the wrong side of the road is easy enough but needs a bit of care if there's no other traffic around to remind you you're abroad. Eventually it becomes automatic. These days it's no problem at all but like everyone else I've had my "moments". Amsterdam is OK to drive in; just try not to mow down too many bikes. Oh, and a red light doesn't always mean "stop" ;-). Can't remember how much parking there is; I haven't been there for 20-odd years. Dave | |
