Andrew W.K in the past has said in the past that one of his influences has been Jim Steinman, I can't really hear it in a lot of his music, but nevertheless some of his music is very catchy.
Anyhoo AWK is releasing a new solo piano album in September and it sounds very promising, check out his myspace and the 55 Cadillac Preview track, I can't stop playing it.
