| So after months of trying to ignore Twitter, I finally caved in and signed up to follow Meat, to get news on the new record. Most of what he's posted so far is worthless and non-music related, but in the past few days he's played a couple quick clips from the recording studio. No vocals, music only, and it sounds pretty cool. The most recent clip sounds quite good, in fact; it starts off sounding like IDAFL for about 1/2 a second, like the trailing end of one of the piano riffs from the intro, then it goes into some wailing Queen-style guitar, with the piano in the back sounding MUCH better, and better respected, than it was on Bat III. I'm optimistic. | |
