NO NO NO! I would never stunt cast a show. I believe in art. I can't think of anyone currently in the theater world who appears 17, has the looks of a Southern California surfer dude and can sing amazingly and act. That is who is required for Peter. I would most likely cast an unknown.

I would totally be fine with Rob in the role if he wanted it... Brian Blessed would also be a fun choice. I saw him on the West End back when I saw WDTW (a different show) and he could sing well.

Honestly, I haven't been too interested in the shows on Broadway/West End lately so I don't know who is out there. I wouldn't cast any Hollywood people... unless I was sure they could actually perform on stage. I know much more the type I would look for in a casting call than who I would cast from existing celebrities... I hate celebrity casting, so would avoid it.
