Tragedy? For some maybe, usually those that were close to the deceased, for the others a slight diversion at the most, distracting from the typical news lately (Iran, elections, EU elections, weather and The One talking crap). Deaths are still part of life and to be expected. For Fawcett and many other cancer/other terminal illness patients it's likely a blessing.

Course quite a lot of people are going to be offended if you don't treat every death as a tragedy, but then we live in an age of the easily and perpetually offended. All thanks to PC crap.

At least the media is going to be happy, filling the papers for the next few days will be easy.
