The Real Criminals In The Michael Jackson Story

I am not putting NJC for this post because Jim was and is a Michael Jackson fan. I am sure that he was upset by the terrible news.

Also he has some things in common with Michael, although he would never be so silly as to allow boys to sleep in his room (I believe that Michael was asexual but he was still setting himself up for lying scam artists like Jordan Chandler and Gavin Arviso).

A genius can be silly. Maybe a genius is more likely to be silly.

Michael and Jim shared a love for Peter Pan and the entire Neverland concept. Both men have proved their genius to the world a long time ago. But yet they are also different.

I wonder who the real criminals in the Michael Jackson story are. I would nominate Joe Jackson. His brutal treatment of Michael must have contributed to Michael's wierdness. Just look at the way he plugged his own record company when he was supposed to be grieving for Michael.

Another possible criminal is Jordan's father. He clearly engineered the disgusting accusations in the court document that Pudding found. If those allegations were true, there should have been a criminal trial. But the scam artists were after money and they didn't care about ruining the reputation of a man who had been very kind to their family.

Jordan's father felt left out of that kindness and at one point he tried to get a film deal out of Michael. Had he got that film deal, the disgusting details contained in that court document would never even have been written. He got away with black mail.

Then there is Gavin Arviso's mother, who tried to do a similar thing but who couldn't get cash before a criminal trial because of a change in the law.

The other criminals are the various doctors. The ones who allowed him to destroy his face during this decade (for a long time the plastic surgery looked good but they should have stopped him from going too far) and the ones who prescribed the drugs that he was addicted to.

I would be interested to hear what other posters think about who the real criminals in the Michael Jackson story are. In some important ways he is very different than Jim but can Michael be blamed for any evil people that surrounded him? Would he have been stronger like Jim if his father hadn't beat him so much when he was a child?
