Why would they ask Jim to write songs for a Phantom of the Paradise Musical when Paul Williams wrote the original score. Of course all it is is Jim recycling a bunch of songs... that really is just sad. When I spoke to Paul Williams in December he said he was working right now on the Phantom of the Paradise stage musical with Henson (Jim Henson's company) looking to produce.
