No, of course not. It should be redone because it never got the proper treatment it deserved, again IMO. If many out there are not aware of the original artist, or that it's even a cover -- well that's just a bonus.
I think Pandora's Box version of IACBTMN is superior, but I credit Celine's version for bringing notoriety to both the song and Jim.
