He's probably have to have all kinds of permission from the "Idol" conglomerate especially if Meat's album is out before Lambert's they wouldn't want Lambert risking being associated with a potential flop or maybe even worse in their eyes having a hit song (no matter how unlikely) that they don't own. I think he's just visiting, maybe with Cavullo or maybe he is a fan of the Loaf. David Cook was there recently also.
