Good point and I know you don't like the recycling but I just remembered this lost project, and my main point was I wouldn't mind seeing a smaller scaled musical from Jim (bearing in mind we 'aint seen the spectacular huge epic yet), plus I love TEOTH as a musical title (and sums up WH perfectly?). I don't mind the recycling, as long as it improves on the previous incarnation (think Future over New Orleans), and with some lyrical tweaks I think the songs I listed could all work great (in a WH context). Toss in a couple of new ones, write a great book and there's your new musical. Easy! LOL. > people who believe Jim has all kinds of material sitting > around and that he is writing all the time still just > suggest he recycle everything. Who knows? I don't reckon he has tons of new stuff but maybe 15-20 complete songs and probably lots of bits & pieces. Also bear in mind that I would happily consider 'new' any lyrical re-writes to all his rare musical stuff (MTYD, Kid Champion, Garbo etc), Wonderful Toys being a great example. | |
