| This message is mostly for Klasien but anyone is free to read it and post either compliments or insults by hitting the reply button. Klasien, when you responded to my "Smeg/Egg Wars Update", you wrote: "Oh quit attracting attention by being pathetic already...!!! The only one at war here is YOU!!!" The Smeg/Egg Wars posts are not intended to be taken seriously. They are tongue in cheek. I know that there is no actual war going on. I am sorry if it is not your kind of humour. Maybe Rob or Lord Rahl might find it funny because they have enjoyed some of my other toungue in cheek posts. I don't know. Pudding probably doesn't get it either or he wouldn't have changed the thread line to "SPAM". But that is what I expect from the Yorkshire Ripper. The fact is that I would miss Smeg if he was banned. When he's not writing female anatomy jokes, he can be hillarious. I would like to read some of his plays (are they available online?). One joke that my mother and I really enjoyed was when Smeg said about Steve Rinkoff guarding the gate so that Jim couldn't get out and that my mother came out as Nurse Ratchet to give Jim his sedative. Recently he posted that my mother had Jim's nuts in a vice. I thought that was hillarious and forwarded it to my mother and she thought it was very funny too. Also, I respect Smeg's serious opinions. You Klasien, were comparing Polanski to a thief. And saying that you hated the "once a thief, always a thief" attitude. But surely you know that this is not about someone stealing a loaf of bread. Smeg said that Polanski would be dead if he ever messed with any of his daughters and I can respect him for that attitude. I disagree with many people who are supporting Polanski. Like Woody Allen, who is himself slightly suspect. So it is refreshing to read Smeg's more moral point of view. I didn't really like it when Smeg was calling me a "lying cunt" because I was not lying but recently he has said that he believes me (unlike the lovely Conas) and he is now calling me a "daft cunt". Which is much more acceptable because sometimes I can indeed be a daft cunt. To close, I know there is no actual war going on. And Smeg ryhmes with Egg, which is surely a positive thing. Also, Klasien, you have defended me several times in the past, so, despite one unfortunate post, you will remain in the positive list with great people like Lord Rahl, Wordnix, Bright Eyes, Ryan, Rob, Susan and possibly Conas (depending on if he stops getting out on the wrong side of the bed every afternoon). | |
