| Agreed. When I first hear Meat Loaf's other records, I often cheer a little bit because there are still elements to the sound that I enjoy and that fly in the face of contemporary style. However, I find that I return less and less to the other recordings and, when I do, I definetely notice how they seem less artful or... umm... less intelligent than the Steinman recordings. It's like I don't fully appreciate what is missing from the recording until a few listens and a little time has passed. The Green Day producer has done some smart stuff, though. It's not really my kind of stuff, but it could be an interesting direction for Meat Loaf if the producer takes control and makes it his record with Meat on vocals. I'm almost inclined to think that a really strong unique vision might be more appealing than faux-Steinman at this point. -=John Galt=- > Come on, Smeg.
