Ooh yeah my too... sort of.
For me Jim's birthday was filled with unexpected Jim reminders..
Firstly, after spending hours cleaning the house I sat down with a glass of wine and flicked on the Foxtel to be confronted with MTV's countdown of the top 50 70's songs..
Yep you guessed it 'Bat out of Hell' pops up at number 7.
They played the whole film clip, wow! it took me back.
As the part where Meat sits next to Jim at the piano came up I raised my glass and made a birthday toast and a little prayer of thanks to the best lyrisist and composer of our time...Happy Birthday Jim
Then later that evening when I headed out in the car to get something for dinner.. low and behold the radio station had an hour dedicated to Meat Loaf and the music of Jim Steinman..
Yep it was an awesome day from my end.. hope it was for you too Jim..
