| Good point. Maybe Pixie's comments were made to help promote one of Sonnenberg's other clients or previous clients, Jim Steinman. It would be about time Sonnenberg sent some media love Jim's way. I've never heart of Pixie Lott, but I like the big brown eyes and the cute face. I wonder if her features would get lost in a large theater. At any rate, I'm content to leave casting up to the creative team without any real comment. Although, after DOTV it might make sense to leave Sonnenberg out of the loop entirely or Smeg may utterly harsh the poor talentless scuz. I will note, though, that when I go to see theater the lead female performer often pulls together the experience for me more so than in film and more so than some of the best lead actors... even if the script dynamics and structure indicate that the actor should be the center of the emotional experience for the audience. It's an important selection made even more difficult by the requirement that she must really be able to sing well and perhaps have a platform that matters to folks in London/West End. Do people seriously like the way she sings/acts or is she just a pop fad? I've got no problem with pop fads, but I'm thinking that she may not do herself or the show any favors if she doesn't have the stage presence or can't really sing. Does she work for the Bat Out of Hell demographic? -=John Galt=- > Pixie Lott is really big in the UK charts. Is she big in > America?
