Tempting 3 million MOS readers, yes, not necessarily the right demographic.
But yes I agree with the principle.
And whether it's a freebie or not, a Steinman compilation album is *well* overdue. What I would really like to see is a release of unreleased tracks, demo tracks etc. Billy Joel did just this in an excellently produced box set and there's no reason I can think of why Jim shouldn't or couldn't do it.
