Or could it be the fact that there might just be something with your inbox? We all have problems with email accounts. I know I've been told about important emails that I've never received, one to my enormous regret in particular

Must be just me then. I know I've always fretted about mistakes and not just spelling ones either. I have always gone back and changed things as much as I can based on emails and suggestions I've received.
Besides, these things, in no matter what form, are a work in development. I think your site is very good on the whole but it suffers from those mistakes here and there. But they can be mended quite easily
