"David Wright of The Mets is THE WHEATIES BOX; AROD is some complex nouvelle cuisine concoction, like my two favorite entrees EVER at LUCAS CARTON in Paris: LOBSTER IN VANILLA SAUCE, gloriously supernal, and DUCK APPICIUS, based on an ancient Roman recipe, involving 55 spices and a glaze that the gods would kill for, and probably did! I love Wright too, but there can be NO comparison! (Im not being elitist, as my favorite food of all is TRUE AMERICAN BBQ! (particularly the "thin" North Carolina style, way above the thick red Kansas style. One is vinegar based and the other tomato based). IT IS THE GREATEST CONTRIBUTION OF AMERICA TO FOOD and belongs in the pantheon with Jazz and Rock n Roll and Blues, and to a lesser extent, Broadway. MUCH LESSER."
