| I went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert in Raleigh this past Wednesday evening. All I can say is it ROCKED! In my humble opinion, it was better than last year! They put on a heck of a show. Laser lights, pyrotechnics, raised stages, and not least a wealth of talent! Each half (I saw TSO East) of the tour puts on two shows every single night! It's amazing to me how they can put on a 3-hour no-intermission high-energy show, take a short break, and do it again. The first half was a story paralleling their album Christmas Eve and Other Stories. Rob Evan was the featured vocalist on "An Angel Came Down" and "An Angel Returned." The second half was a collection of various new songs and audience favorites. They played a few songs from Night Castle. Tim Hockenberry showed up to sing "Believe." They said they're coming back in the spring. I hope they focus more on Night Castle. If they do, I hope Rob Evan stays on tour to sing the songs he did on the album.
