Well, yeah, that was lame.
For what it is, i.e. a no frills release of a 30 year old TV broadcast, it's a very fine DVD. As long as you don't expect state of the art sound and image, there's nothing wrong with it. The only downside is that it omits the removal of the gloves (and, apparently, Johnny B Goode and River Deep Mountain High on the North American versions). Since the performance is quite well known (and also available on this site), there's no need to go into that.
