Sadly no, but I thought the guy wasn't bad considering... he had some nice low notes, it was just the top of his range that lacked power. > Did you notice the nod to Jim in the new finale? The > vampire with glasses, leather-jacket and the skull/woman > tie? How could we miss it! I think will has a picture. I think every show should have a Jim-pire! > Some of the new sets where an improvement to the old I LOVED the sets! All of them! (Including the ending as well - I've never liked having the finale without a backdrop and the costumes were just ace! Really brought the show up to the present day (which is where it's supposed to be for that scene after all) > Herbert got queerer Yeah, he was the only character I didn't think was as good as in Oberhausen (apart from the guy playing Krolock not being quite as good; and you'd expect that from the B guy). The guy in Oberhausen just played the part SO naturally, whereas I thought this guy seemed to be trying just that bit too hard... I should probably also mention that the actress playing Sarah in this production has the most AMAZING voice! Had better go now as supposed to be meeting several people to go round Vienna and when they read the board they are going to know exactly why I was late and all my excuses will fail utterly! All the best, Ali | |
