I never even made the "Batman" connection, Scara. Very interesting...

I don't recall if you said you read the book or not. Check it out. It's an interesting read although "Phantom Phans" were totally against it.

As for ALW & Steinman, I have heard around the communities that they still speak. One very reliable source mentioned they met up during celebrations for Phantom's 18th on Broadway.

I don't know if ALW had anything to do with "DOTV", that's the first I've heard of it, but he did comment positively about the musical when Michael Crawford was announced as Krolock.
