But didn't Jim have to use all sorts of production tricks to get Meat's voice to sound right? Tricks that took ages and ages. Like taping many performances and then splicing bits from different takes together. I'm not sure but I've heard people say that it was a nightmare. "Jim didn't need AutoTune" because he was a genius producer and voice coach. I think that Meat had already blown his voice back then. But Anything For Love won him the best vocal Grammy and I think a lot of that is down to Jim in the studio. No wonder Jim didn't fancy working on The Monster Is Loose.
