| Many thanks to Pudding (see his blog) for posting this!! I've had about ten listens and quite like it (7/10). It's definately camp & cabaret, but very tuneful, with some clever lyrics: 'If I shut, both my eyes, when we kissed I got cut, at the neck, and the wrist, at my gut How his fingers would twist, my private of privates...' It comes together beautifully (music & lyrics), in the section: 'How much more in love, could anybody be? I have kissed the ground he walked on, While he walked on me...' In fact I can see 'How Much More In Love (Could Anybody Be)?' as a new Steinman title/song. Ray Errol Fox does write really clever lyrics, but I just prefer Jim's lyrics. Would love to have heard a full (& refined) production of this. And yes, you can hear other Steinman song melodies within, but who cares?! Anyone knows who is singing & playing; Andre De Shields & Margoshes?? | |
