Let’s look at it in a movie sense too. Warner Bros chose not to cast Jack Nicholson in "The Dark Knight" because it was a different thing to "Batman" just like the "Bat out of Hell" album is a different thing to the stage-show, e.g. you don't honestly expect to go in there and just see the 7 songs done live to a spectacle. Exactly. Warner Bros and Christopher Nolan did something new and different with "Batman Begins" and "The Dark Knight" and "The Dark Knight" is one of the biggest selling films of all time next to "Titanic".
Think of BOOH-The Musical as a reboot of the "franchise", LOL.
