| I fell in love with the original Rock And Roll Dreams when I was waiting in line at the hardware store and they were playing BBC Radio 2 and the DJ Terry Wogan announced it as "Jim Steinman and Rock And Roll Dreams Come Through" (although I understand that its not actually Jim singing, even though he sang most of the BFG songs). Its that version that I find inspirational and I don't think you could find a better recording for wishing people a great New Year (although the later version is also great - its a great composition). It is confusing because Meat later recorded it. I shouldn't have said "non-Bat song". I like Celine Dion's version of IACBTMN and at the time it was a non-Bat song but of course that is no longer the case. I may be in a minority but I prefer the non-Bat version to the Bat version. My favourite Jim songs of all time are on Bat 1 and Bat 2. That is probably why I talked about "favourite non-Bat song". Also, I am constantly hearing about BOOH songs and there is an interesting body of work outside of Bat. Oh dear. My poor old middle aged brain is getting confused. Please forgive and excuse me. > Well, thanks for the kind reply, but... > > Yeah RnRDCT is ofcourse from BFG, but then years later it > appeared > on BOOH II, so wouldn't that officially make it a Bat song > ? > Or did you mean original Bat only ?
