Not really, I'm not really one to seek people out or chase after them to get info. So this was a bit of a one off for me. I was just overwhelmed he actually wrote back.

Ryan actually found David's Management and I sent them the initial email explaining my reasoning for the contact and low and behold David himself actually got back to me a few weeks later.

It was quite strange actually reading back over that email, as some of the 'Jargon' (as somebody put it in this thread) actually confused me at the time to, until I started putting it into practice, now it makes perfect sense.

As I mentioned on one of the other posts in this thread, David did give me a few tips on mixing which I still try and stick with now. I can post that if anyone is interested.
And everytime I listen to one of his mixes you can tell that he has struck to his method and it works.

I wouldn't mind picking Todds Rudgren's brains over Bat 1.
Not that I would suspect he would remember much about how he mixed that one, being so long ago, but having him talk about the processes he took and what they used equipment wise etc would be really interesting.....from an engineers perspective only I guess...lol
