I read that they're doing an episode with original songs in the upcoming season, and that Diane Warren will be writing one or two tunes. Wouldn't this be worth considering for Jim? He loves teenagers - and some of the actors on the show definitely know how to belt out a tune. Lea Michele's take on "Don't Rain On My Parade" is pretty damn amazing, for example.
