| If the concept album is anything like the one for "Whistle", I think they should have Meat Loaf record the new songs. The other celebrities would record the famous songs and Meat Loaf would be honoured with the new material, e.g. "What part of my body hurts the most" and "We're still the children we once were". I thought "Monster is Loose" was the biggest waste of an opportunity because we could have had another brilliant moment like "Objects" with Meat singing "Still the children". Perhaps they could include a DVD extra, documentaries from the studio and an extra feature with Meat and Jim battling it out to record the last 2 tracks they ever complete with one another, before turning away to focus on their own careers from now on. This album already sounds a million times better than TMIL and it hasn't even been done. > > Would there be any advantage to casting Meat Loaf as Hook > > in "BOOH The Musical"? > > Nope. > > He probably can't manage the 8 shows a week, but in any > case I don't think he is right for Hook (nowadays), and I > doubt Jim has written the character (for this version) > with Meat in mind. > > Meat could be great for some promo and the concept CD, but > not the show. > > > > | |
